Group A (Czech Republic, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey)
Group B (Austria, Croatia, Germany, Poland)
Group C (France, Italy, Netherlands, Romania)
Group D (Greece, Russia, Spain, Sweden)

#a Winner Group A vs Runner-up Group B
#b Winner Group B vs Runner-up Group A
#c Winner Group C vs Runner-up Group D
#d Winner Group D vs Runner-up Group C

Semis: @1 Winner #a vs Winner #b
Semis: @2 Winner #c vs Winner #d

Finals: Winner @1 vs Winner @2

Group A got 2004 euro finalist Portugal, co-host Switzerland
Group B got 2002 world cup finalist Germany, co-host Austria
Group C is group of death, got 2006 world cup winner Italy, 2006 world cup finalist France, underachieving Nederlands
Group D got 2004 euro winner Greece, underachieving Spain

Who is your favourite team to win this year euro 2008?
No England to choose, will Italy who crown 2006 world cup winner will win this euro 2008 following the path of France double winner in World cup 1998 and euro 2000.
Will Greece retain back the title they won by upsetting Portugal who also the host?
Or will it be the time for underachieving big guns such as Spain or Nederlands?

For my guessing, based on the grouping and the path to the finals, I predict Portugal winner of Group A, Germany winner of Group B, Italy winner of Group C and Spain winner of Group D.
While runner-up for Group A is Czech Republic, Group B is Croatia, Group C is Nederlands/France and Group D is Greece.
1st semifinals will be Portugal vs Germany and 2nd semifinals will be Italy vs Spain.
The finals will be Portugal vs Italy and the winner will be Italy :D if no upset :P
For each big tournament, there will be always upset happening around :S
Ball is round :)

Let’s watch this exciting tournament which team will be crowned the Euro 2008 Champions.
