My Story – Back to the land of golden opportunity (Part II)

January 9th, 2008 by rromie

Good things have to come to an end, and that goes to PeeJayReds too, you just wait! I left my era of ‘official’ education to ‘officially’ entering the workforce. My timing was perfect, I got a job just 1 week before the infamous Annuar Ibrahim ‘poison pill’ budget, that later followed by (chronologically, I don’t mean by effect) the Asian Financial Crisis. I was there without any computer to play games with and with no football periodicals to read with.

As a result of the crisis, I learn the value of saving money, probably much better than my way of spending in Hattrick, when I got enough savings….

Well, I got busy in other ways and get married instead.:)

One things lead to another and later one and another one join me… (sounds like youth academy?) Just imagine what you can achieved without playing a single computer games in 6 years!!

Only after 6 years of working I finally joined an organization that is kindly to allowed me to surf the net in the office computer…. I have been using the search engine for a while searching for “PBM, Play by mail, etc” but I think it was in www.lowyat.net is that where one fined (BORED) day I discovered…. “HATTRICK”

Next : Dawn of a new Era.
