Not all Fun and Games - by mrjefe
October 29th, 2007 by mrjefeA ray of morning light broke through the curtains and I slowly woke to a warm, fuzzy morning. To my left was my baby girl in her cot looking all angelic, while on my right was my infant boy, sleeping hands clasp together as if saying his morning prayers. It promises to be a good day says my wife.
I climb out gingerly from my bed and take out my Nokia E61 - what bliss to have this toy! Start tapping on those little keys as Maxis connects me to the world and then…
…#$@%#@#%@@%$#%$@#@!!!!!! Hattrick still down!!!! Till AFTERNOON SUMMORE!!!! How larr my training updates????? %^%%%#$#!!!!! Gonna be another heck of a day!

Heheh… that was me dealing with the last major downtime… imagine how difficult EOS (end of season) can be!
I still find myself logging in every hour or so, luckily for me, the youth academy is still running thus offers some respite from this period of inactivity. Weird (or not) as it may seem, I may not be the only one feeling this way.
Last EOS, some more desperate friends joined Battrick, an online cricket game… a road less travelled and hopefully one I never take…
